# Delete custom dimension definition

> Soft-deletes a custom dimension definition. The definition is marked as deleted and will no longer appear in list or get responses. Returns 403 when the organization does not exist or the authenticated user is not an administrator of it. Returns 404 when the custom dimension definition does not exist or has already been deleted.
