# Global query parameters

The Expense API has a couple of global parameters that can be appended to make adjustment to how the data is presented in the response.

the following parameters are available:

**lang** - used to set desired language for the response of the API-call.\
usage: lang=en\_GB

**formattingRegion** - Used to set desired formattingRegion for the response of the API-call.\
usage: formattingRegion=en\_GB
